Upcoming Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show shines spotlight on new resources
The nation’s largest, longest-running coastal souvenir, resort gift show, the Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show, returns December 8-11, 2019 to South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach Convention Center. In addition to an unrivalled selection of themed merchandise, resort apparel, gifts and souvenirs, the 2019 edition will welcome a number of new features, including the new MATCH VIP appointment-setting program, more show floor hospitality and networking opportunities.

Highlights for 2019
Tremendous product selection – Featuring thousands of lines on display, retailers can explore a wide selection of products from the industry’s leading resort and gift manufacturers and sales representatives in every product category, including resort gifts, souvenirs, novelties, nautical/coastal items, licensed products, beachwear, general gift, and much more.
MATCH! – a new customized meeting experience – MATCH! is the Grand Strand show’s new customized meeting experience that brings exhibitors and top souvenir/resort buyers together in pre-arranged, confirmed appointments based on mutual interests – all designed to personalize the show experience and accelerate sales.
Goody bag giveaway – The first 100 buyers to arrive at the show on Sunday, December 8 and Monday, December 9 will receive a special tote bag filled with complimentary product samples from participating exhibitors.
“Island” party spots on the show floor– Retailers can look for the new show “Tiki Bar” and other happy hour spots on the show floor for complimentary drinks and the chance to meet up with industry friends. Details on dates and times coming soon.
Made in America Buying Tour | 11 a.m., December 9 –Buyers are invited to go on a curated show floor tour to visit vendors on the show floor and learn tips and strategies to merchandise and sell Made in the USA products in their stores. A complimentary lunch will be provided to those that complete the tour. The tour will be led by Tommy Brown, St. Louis Zoo.
