Mark your calendar because NY NOW®, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, is excited to announce that registration is now open for the winter 2018 market. All eyes in the home, gift, lifestyle and handmade industries will be focused on New York City as thousands of buyers, retailers and other industry attendees converge for the industry’s must-attend marketplace. Registration is open and members of the industry, including retailers and buyers as well as members of the press, are encouraged to sign up now to ensure they have a front row seat to the latest design trends.
Taking place from Feb. 3-7, 2018 at the Javits Center in New York City, NY NOW will once again feature a staggered schedule. The Handmade Global Design section of the HANDMADE Collection will be open Saturday, Feb. 3 through Tuesday, Feb. 6. The Handmade Designer Maker and Artisan Resource sections of the HANDMADE Collection as well as the comprehensive HOME and LIFESTYLE Collections will open Sunday, Feb. 4 through Wednesday, Feb. 7. We remind returning attendees that Javits North will continue to be under renovation during the winter 2018 market and as a result, the Handmade Designer Maker section will once again be located on Level 3 and it will not be open on Saturday.

NY NOW is the go-to market to find the latest and best home, gift and lifestyle products across three comprehensive collections — HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE. With more than 2,300 premier established and emerging brands participating this coming February, attendees will have the opportunity to explore tens of thousands of design-driven products across hundreds of diverse product categories. From home décor and furnishings, tabletop and housewares, gifts, stationery, and textiles, as well as personal care and accessories for men, women and children, and more — NY NOW is the No. 1 place for buyers to find products that drive sales and make their business stand out from the competition!
New Areas to Explore
Debuting at the winter market, NY NOW announces a new feature area through a partnership with SURTEX. SURTEX is a global B2B marketplace for sourcing original art and designs for products ranging from home décor and tableware to apparel and giftware. This winter, attendees and exhibitors will have the opportunity to explore an intimate SURTEX Preview showcasing approximately 15 artists offering original art and design for purchase or licensing. Retailers and manufacturers will be able to source original art and designs to create their next best-selling or private label products. This will be located on Level 3.
NY NOW will also offer a special curated SHOP ICFF area for luxury and boutique retailers to browse original creations and emerging designs. SHOP ICFF will showcase unique and distinctive furniture, lighting, and accessories ideal for even the most discerning customers. SHOP ICFF will be located on Level 3 and feature roughly 50 participants.
Seminars and Events
To help attendees advance their career or business and make the most of their time at the Market, NY NOW will once again offer a full schedule of educational seminars. Sessions will provide attendees with great tips and insights to implement when they return to their stores, showrooms or studios. A complete schedule will be available online in November.
