MSA encourages participation in Museum Store Sunday

The Museum Store Association (MSA) announced that Museum Store Sunday will be held on Nov. 29, 2020. Museum Store Sunday encourages community members to give back to cultural institutions.

Founded in 2017, this annual, international event is celebrated on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and directly supports the arts and cultural institutions around the globe. In 2019, 1,453 stores in 50 states, 22 countries and five continents participated in Museum Store Sunday.

“Most museums offer a special discount, event or featured product to draw visitors to their stores. Store owners work with vendor partners create custom products of their Museum Store Sunday celebrations and participating museums receive help from MSA through customizable promotions, listing in our store locator, inspiration for planning and possible local and national media attention,” MSA noted on its website. “We are here to help you make Museum Store Sunday your busiest day of the year!”
