Las Vegas Market partners with American Institute of Floral Designers

Las Vegas Market is partnering with the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) to host a one-day event that connects market vendors with buyers and designers in the floral industry. The event will take place on Monday, July 8, 2019, from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m., on the World Market Center Las Vegas campus. It will be held in conjunction with AIFD’s 2019 Symposium “Awaken,” taking place in Las Vegas from July 6 to July 11, 2019.

“This event allows select Las Vegas Market tenants to open their showrooms and showcase their full line of gifts, holiday/seasonal and decorative accessory products to the AIFD membership,” said Dorothy Belshaw, executive vice president, chief marketing and digital officer for International Market Centers. “This is a great platform for our tenants to get one-on-one time with some of the key decision-makers in the floral industry.”

The American Institute of Floral Designers is the floral industry’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to establishing, maintaining and recognizing the highest standard of professional floral design. AIFD members come from all aspects of the floral industry but the majority are shop owners and managers that are associated with retail flower shops and event companies. The event is happening in conjunction with AIFD’s National Symposium.

Food trucks, showroom tours, demonstrations and more will be available for AIFD members, and International Market Centers (IMC) will raffle off an all-expenses paid two-day trip to the Winter 2020 Las Vegas Market. The package includes airfare and a two-day hotel stay. Participating Las Vegas Market showrooms will host their own raffles, giveaways and demonstrations, among other activities.
