IndieMe hosts first Virtual Expo this June

IndieMe Marketplace, an online marketplace for retailers to source handmade American and Canadian artist-made craft for over 22 years, will host its first Virtual Expo from June 3-9, 2020*.

The IndieMe Marketplace has over 22 years in the handcrafted wholesale industry marketing and managing the online platform. In addition, the company has produced over 20 physical trade shows. This Virtual Expo is offered as another option to the traditional trade shows.

“This is an unsettling time for all of us and especially small business owners. It is our hope that IndieMe can be a partner with small business owners as they look for ways to keep moving forward towards the future. After sharing this concept of a virtual trade show with many of our members, we are happy to report they are excited as much as we are. The pandemic will pass, stores will reopen, people will go shopping and retailers need to be prepared,” said Jacqueline Adamany, owner of IndieMe Marketplace.

The expertise and industry-specific knowledge provided by IndieMe Marketplace positions the company for the concept of a Virtual Expo. With a mission focused on strategic growth within the industry combined with stellar customer service and a strong wholesale platform, the Virtual Expo will be another tool in an artist’s approach to marketing their handcrafted product line. “We want to offer the option to stay home and shop. The Virtual Expo will be structured like a traditional trade show: show specials by participating artists, giveaways and credits to buyers, as well as educational webinars,” shared Jaqueline. The Virtual Expo is free for qualified buyers and a nominal fee is charged to artists.
