IGES Rewards Buyers and Looks Ahead

Nancy Cox, with Acme Costume, was just one of many buyers to win a prize for placing an order during the International Gift Exposition in the Smokies Nov. 7-8.

IGES held all-new Early Bird Friday specials and the annual Super Saturday specials for the buyers who attended the show on these two days. Buyers were welcomed with complimentary coffee and donuts each morning, enjoyed a complimentary lunch in the afternoon and were able to enter into hourly drawings for $100 cash or $50 gift cards.

For each order placed at the show on these two days, the exhibitor with whom they placed their order gave the buyers an entry. Buyers filled out these entry forms and added them to the giant gold hopper near the registration desk. Every hour names were drawn for $100 cash and a $50 gas card. The Sevierville Events Center was filled with excitement and smiles as buyers made their way to the registration desk to collect their prizes after hearing their winning names on the PA system.

The IGES will be held Nov. 5-9, 2009 and will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary. For more information, visit
