Dallas Market Center offers new FastPass System pre-registration

Dallas Market Center, a lifestyle marketplace for retailers and interior designers, announced that pre-registration for Total Home & Gift Market (Aug. 19-25) has accelerated by more than 35% following the recent debut of a new FastPass registration system.

The FastPass, available from the front-page of the Dallas Market Center website, is a one-step pre-registration for buyers that delivers an immediate email confirmation and barcode. Recent improvements have made the process of registering for the FastPass easier and the on-site process to enter Market with a FastPass will be quicker and low contact.

Market Entrance

Upon entry to market at any main building entrance, buyers with the FastPass will access exclusive registration lanes with scan, print and go technology. Similar to airline boarding passes, the FastPass may be presented via a printed copy or digitally via a mobile device. FastPass lanes will be available at the World Trade Center, Trade Mart, Interior Home & Design Center, and Market Hall the duration of the show.

“We’re pleased with the pre-market registration trend as we prepare to safely welcome buyers into our marketplace,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO for Dallas Market Center. “The FastPass is an important, additional method to support a healthy environment. Our complete plan, together with design features including large parking lots, wide entries and hallways, and multiple escalators, create the safest possible environment among all market centers and trade events. We continue to be encouraged by the sharp reduction in local COVID-19 cases following the mask order.”

Strict measures are in place to guide all August events. The complete protocols are available via a link on the front page of the Dallas Market Center website. Those measures include existing procedures for social distancing as well as recent additions such as a mask requirement and mandatory temperature check for each person entering the marketplace including all buyers and exhibitors. In addition, the guidelines cover facility operations, registration, food and beverage service, shuttles, employee screening, and other important topics. A quick list of health & safety protocols as well as a link to the comprehensive plan are available online.
