Winter 2020
Delightful Transformations By Debbie Eisele

The year 2020 is an exciting one here at museums&MORE. First, we have the launch of our newly resized publication and updated logo, all in this issue! This format offers opportunities for both our readers and advertisers and we hope you enjoy the updated look and feel of the publication.

The transformations seen in this publication incorporate a full redesign of every page, which enables us to feature more products and provides us an opportunity to share even more engaging editorial content with you, such as operations articles, behind the scenes looks at some fascinating destination retailers, artistic spotlights on makers, and more.

The Statue of Liberty’s Gift Pavilion is featured on page 20. The opening of the amazing museum on the grounds of this beloved U.S. treasure and the free-standing gift shops on Liberty Island provide such a global appeal.

Museum of Discovery and Science provides visitors with an interactive and educational experience and its Explore Store offers merchandise that reinforces exhibit information in a fun, appealing manner. Turn to page 24 to read all about this museum and its store.

Also in this issue, the spotlight is on a variety of products that are perfect for any destination or specialty retailer. To find inspiration for your store, turn to page 12 to see what’s trending. And don’t forget to peruse the Winter Show Preview on page 40 — it just may provide some ideas for your buying trips.

On a personal note, I am looking forward to sharing many feature articles pertinent to our industry in upcoming issues, and welcome ideas and inspiration from you.
