Las Vegas Market intensifies gourmet expansion

Las Vegas Market announced June 1 that nine new showrooms and 25 new lines will debut on C11 — the industry’s most dynamic new destination for gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food — at the Summer 2016 Las Vegas Market, July 31-Aug. 4, 2016.  These most recent additions bring the overall number of gourmet resources on C11 to 200-plus lines, with hundreds more presented across the Market’s 40 showroom floors and two temporary pavilions.

“Las Vegas Market has been steadily expanding the gourmet housewares presentation on C11 since its debut in Summer 2015, and industry-leading suppliers and brands are continuing to flock to this vibrant venue,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is committed to presenting an exciting, cross-category assortment of gourmet housewares, tabletop and specialty food resources that will appeal to our existing gift and home décor buyers, as well as offer new buying opportunities for gourmet retailers.”

Debuting showrooms on C11 for Summer Market include gourmet and gift supplier Brand Castle, debuting a 191-square-foot showroom; tabletop and housewares provider Circa Asia, opening its first, stand-alone national showroom in a 234-square-foot space; and tabletop and housewares resource Janey Lynn’s Designs, also debuting its first permanent national showroom in a 191-square-foot location.  Several companies, including specialty food supplier Carmie’s Kitchen; and upscale cookware manufacturer Le Creuset, also have confirmed their intent to participate in micro showrooms on C11.
