Amy Kahn Russell
Jewelry Artist

1. What makes your product unique?
The Amy Kahn Russell line has always been bold wearable art. We create unique pieces utilizing culture from throughout the world. Each piece often contains a story of handmade history, whether it be the Czech glass buttons, the hand-painted Russian miniatures or the stunning enameled quartz stones of India.

I mix peridot with a royal blue lapis, and freshwater peacock pearls with amethyst and chalcedony, and you just want to dig in and play with the gems. I want the women who wear these treasures to wear them with pride.

2. Where do you sell your product?
Museum shops, specialty fashion and gallery boutiques throughout the world and in galleries. Our customer is sophisticated and fashion forward and not afraid to make a statement.

3. What is the most popular product you sell?
Earrings! We never leave the house without a fantastic pair of earrings, a dash of eye shadow and a fantastic lip dressing. Amy Kahn Russell offers hundreds of options in clips, posts and dangles on leverbacks.

4. What are your top retail tips?
Treat every customer as if they are carrying rolls of cash. Don’t let the outer attire of a customer dictate or allow you to anticipate the sale. Every item in the store is a possibility. Remember, you loved it enough to purchase it for your store, so sell it!
